What is ?
is a multifunctional fuel additive that improves the combustion process in gasoline and diesel engines. In gasoline engines, it reduces the combustion chamber deposits (CCD) thereby reducing the octane number required (ONR) by the engine. In diesel engines, it reduces the ignition delay and improves the Cetane number of diesel fuel. In both gasoline and diesel engines, the improved combustion results in better fuel economy and lower emissions.
MANUACTURING
is manufactured by reacting a cut of crude oil with oxygen in the presence of a proprietary catalyst. technology is protected by numerous patents in many countries of the world. The final product contains various petroleum based hydrocarbon components including an active polar compound (a polar molecule has concentrations of positive and negative electric charges). contains only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.
DEVELOPMENT
was developed by the Nelson family who are the founders of Polar Molecular Corporation (PMC). The Nelsons discovered that a unique polar compound in combination with other petroleum-based components was capable of improving the combustion process in gasoline and diesel engines. ’s benefits were subsequently supported by numerous tests conducted at several independent laboratories.
US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) APPROVED
The US EPA has approved as “substantially similar” to gasoline. The “substantially similar” designation means that will not increase any harmful emissions and will not harm any fuel system components or emission control equipment on the vehicles. This designation means that may be bulk treated in fuels.
ENGINE WARRANTY
Improving the combustion process and minimizing the combustion chamber deposits, will keep engines cleaner, reduce the maintenance requirements, and extend the engine life. is “substantially similar” to fuel itself. doesn’t change engine manufacturer required fuel and fuel additive specifications. fits the fuel additive requirements set forth in the Worldwide Fuel Charter written and published by all engine manufacturers which sets forth fuel and fuel additive specifications.
How does work in both gasoline and diesel engines?
Both gasoline and diesel fuels are mixtures of hundreds of different hydrocarbons which differ in their chemical structure and composition. During the combustion process encountered in gasoline and diesel engines, these various hydrocarbon molecules mix with oxygen supplied by the air and compete for the combustion reactions in which carbon is converted to carbon dioxide and hydrogen is converted to water. Due to the complexity of combustion reactions, some of the hydrocarbons are not completely consumed, thus contributing to incomplete combustion and formation of pollutants such as carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons. The oxides of nitrogen (NOx), another pollutant from motor vehicle emissions, are formed by the combination of oxygen and nitrogen which are present during the high temperature combustion process.
’s unique polar formulation improves the dispersion between fuel molecules and enhances their mixing with the air, thereby improving the overall combustion efficiency in both gasoline and diesel engines. The results are better fuel economy and reduced harmful emissions. More specifically, in gasoline engines the most important effect is the reduction of combustion chamber deposits that results in lower Octane Number Required (ONR) by the engine. In diesel engines, increases the Cetane number of the diesel fuel and, thus, reduces the ignition delay, which results in improved combustion and a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.
